Hi,

I have created a new custom template layout and was wondering how to add the nice visual of the layout effect you have on the News, Videos etc.?

If there are tutorials for the composer can you point me to them as I can only find administrator documentation.

Kind regards

Mel
Hello Mel,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

The layout image is actually an image that we fetch from /components/com_easyblog/assets/images/template-events.png (for events template). Currently you need to manually upload your desire image inside the file path above and then go to your database, find #__easyblog_post_templates table (replace #_ with your table prefix) and find the column "screenshot" and set the image path there, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-07-02_1540.png .

The result should look like this, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-07-02_1540_001.png . Hope these help.

Hi Ezrul,

thanks, I shall do that.

Where do you get those little grey images to use in yours as I would like to keep it consistent if I can

Hello Mel,

I believe our designer created the image itself by using their photos software tools like Photoshop.
