Hi

I already have a few hundred users on the site and want to add them all as subscribers.

How can I do that?

David
Hi Jellyweb,

Yes it is possible. All you need to do is export your joomla user from your database into CSV format and then upload the CSV file in your backend > easyblog > subscriptions > import subscribers. However I just tested the importer and it seems like there are some minor bug that causing the importer not working correctly. Before you begin with the import process, kindly download my attachment below and place it inside your /administrator/components/com_easyblog/models/ folder and see how it goes.

Can you tell me how I get new users to be added as subscribers automatically?

Hi Jellyweb,

You need to enable easyblog user plugin where you can find it from your backend > extension > plugin and search for Users = EasyBlog Users and enable the following option as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/sMTKatE9J3P .
