How do I set automatic timezone?

I am creating a network for local music club. I would like the timezone to default to one location.
How do I set the timezone?
Hi Eric,

I am sorry for the confusion.

To configure your default timezone when user register with EasySocial, go to EasySocial backend under Profile types -> [select your profile type] -> Custom fields and click on your timezone field and you should see the setting screen for your timezone field. Click on the 'core' tab and you should see the 'default value' textfield. Enter your timezone in this 'default value' inputtext. Please see screencast.com/t/E3qbXBXSxYA

When your user register, the timezone will be defaulted to the timezone you've configured

Hey Eric,

The timezone is inherited from your Joomla Global Configuration You just need to set it in the global configuration

I changed my time zone in global config and when I so to the sign up menu registration item the timezone is still listed as UTC. is this a browser cookie issue or did it not take?
