Hi,

I am testing the new EB5 Composer and creating a blog using both the Blank template and the News template.

In the Blog area I can see where I can place the content, but I am restricted to the window size. Once I have added a couple of blocks I can no longer scroll down the page to add more content. I have looked for obvious things like insert new page, but cannot see anything that does this. Are we restricted to the short window for creating blogs?

I tried it with the News template also, and tried to drop a block under the bottom images but it wouldn't allow me to scroll below that area.

How do I scroll the Composer window beyond the one that's there?

Kind regards

Mel
Hello Mel,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

By right you should be able to scroll down inside the composer. Check my video link here where I try to put some block at the bottom of the long blog post, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-07-02_1525.swf . May I know which browser you are using currently?

Hi Ezrul,

thanks for responding.

No, I definitely cannot scroll as you can. I am using the inbuilt EB5 composer. If you log in you can see for yourself - I have added details

Hello Mel,

I just tried the composer on your site and I am able to scroll it down when trying to add the block. I'm using firefox and chrome browser to test it. Check my video link, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-07-02_1629.swf

Not quite sure how to reproduce the issue that you are facing now though.

Hi Ezrul,

thanks for responding.

I have tried it on my regular PC and I still have the same issue there too. I am using Chrome version Version 43.0.2357.130 m.

I have also tried it on 2 separate Surface Pro 3 tablets (10 inch screen and one 12 inch screen) see clip where I am using the News template and trying to insert a block underneath the 3 thumbnails:

In addition, on the Surface Pro 3, when I click to select the template, I cannot see scroll bar at all, so users can be led to thinking it can't be scrolled.

Hi Ezrul,

thanks for responding.

I have tried it on my regular PC and I still have the same issue there too (and on Firefox). I am using Chrome version Version 43.0.2357.130 m.

I have also tried it on 2 separate Surface Pro 3 tablets (10 inch screen and one 12 inch screen) I was trying to attach a Jing clip to demonstrate my issue but I am getting following error when I try to attach: The file example.swf, which you are attempting to upload is in an unsupported format. How can I send this to you?

Basically I have selected the News template and am trying to add a new text block underneath the bottom 3 thumbs images. When I select the Add Block, the select Text and hold it down to drop below these 3 images, I can't move beyond the top of the 3 images.

In addition, on the Surface Pro 3, when I click to select the template, I cannot see scroll bar at all, so users can be led to thinking it can't be scrolled.

Hello Mel,

I believe Jing has the option to upload your image/video via screencast where you can share the url everywhere. Perhaps you can give it a try and see how it goes.

By the way I've tried to access your backend but I'm hitting the following error, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-07-03_1110.png . Please advise.

Hi Nik,

I just tried logging in on the stack account I set up, and still I cannot add blocks under the last block in any of my templates. Yest you were able to do it in my website. Its very odd. How do you actually select the scroll? All I can do (as my PC screen is not a touch screen) is keep the active block pressed with my mouse and move my mouse down the screen, but I can't pass beyond what is in the window.

Hello Mel,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Ah I see. Actually there is no need for you to hold the click in order to drag the block. You can just click the block once and release the mouse click hold in order to make the block stays on your mouse cursor. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-07-06_1334.png , http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-07-06_1334.png . After that you can use mouse wheel to scroll down the page or click on the scroll bar like you see from my video link above.

You can also move the current block inside the composer layout by clicking on the block > click the move block once > click again to drop the block on the desire location. Check my video here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-07-06_1342.swf

Hope these help.
