Hello,

Someone ask a question on EasyDiscuss, how do I reply to this question as an admin (I mean super user). Is there a way for me to reply inside the Joomla admin, yes inside the Easydiscuss at the backend. Or I have to go to the frontend and create a moderator account for me to reply? Please help.

Kind Regards,

Rosauro
Unfortunately that is not possible to add a new reply through the backend, but you can create a moderator user account, so this user account can able to reply those question in frontend.

1. Create new user account and assign to administrator/moderator user group
2. Ensure that you have assign this user group (administrator/moderator) from each of your existing Easydiscuss categories permission section. (screenshot : http://take.ms/YOihE)

Hello,

I don't see any reply button as a Super User inside the backend or control panel of EasyDiscuss. While on the frontend if I log in as a user or account holder I can reply easily I can see a reply button.

Please help.

Kind Regards,

Rosauro

Hello,

The category where the question is posted is not set as a container so I believe users can post here. But as a super user inside the backend of EasyDiscuss I can't post any reply because I don't see any reply button.

Hello,

This post is meant to help you resolve my issue. Also I have check the category where the question is and its permission. I have checked and made sure that the super users can moderate posts in this category, reply to discussion in this category, view replies in this category, create discussions in this category, view discussions in this category. But still I can't reply directly to the question as a super user inside the backend of Joomla. Is this really how the software work? I mean for me to reply to it I really have to create a separate account and log in at the frontend as a moderator or manager for me to reply?

Kind Regards,

Rosauro
