Hello,
I can't find the settings parameter where I can change the order of the comments.
Can you please tell me where this is found?
I added a URL to show a page but by default, looks like the order is Older-to-Newer.
I want the order of the comments displayed to be Newer-to-Older so users don't have to scroll to view the latest entries.
Cheers,
G
Hello Gilles,

Please try to replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easyblog/helpers/comment.php. Hope this helps.

Thanks Nik,
two questions:
1. This means I'll have to re-copy every time I update EB, correct?
2. Any chance of including this as an option in EB? I'm certain I'm not the only one wishing this to be an integrated solution.
Cheers,
G

Hello Gilles,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Currently there are no ordering options in the comments for EasyBlog so you will need to reupload this hack. Unfortunately, the reason that the ordering was not added is simply because your workflow will be wrong. If your comments are ordered as newest first, then your comment form appears at the bottom and you'll have a very confusing workflow.

We will consider this in the future but I cannot guarantee anything at this point of time.
