I can't see how to achieve this.. In my event, (link now removed) - the 'Files' listing in the sidebar widget is right at the bottom...

I notice in the ES2 demo site, for example http://es2.stackideas.com/events/50-new-year - the 'Files' listing is much higher up (and so more likely to be seen) - It's above the guests widget.

My question is simply, how do I control this and move the 'Files' listing up in the order of things?
Hey Andy,

Currently I have no ideas why your site that file widget show at the last one.

By the way, I've tried to connect with your FTP server, but i hitting this :

Error: Authentication failed.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

Please advise.

Hi Arlex. Can you try the FTP again. Maybe that was a temporary issue...

hey Andy,

I've checked in your site, it seems like it based on the app which installed first in this table #__social_apps , and currently we do not have do any sorting from the widget area.

if you really want to show the file widget on the top, unfortunately that was not possible to achieve this, but I can try swap both app data from this table #__social_apps, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

So the result will show the file widget on the top then guest widget will show on the bottom.

If you agree with this, can you provide us with your phpmyadmin access and backup all of your existing data again so I can perform this changes from your site.

Hi Arlex... Thanks for finding this out and offering to help further too. Yes, I would love it if you could switch them around for me. I've added my phpmyadmin access to the Site Details info on my account here... and my site is backed-up....

Hi Andy,

Regarding your issue with EasySocial 2.0 file widget not appearing on top, I've added a fix on your test site and now the app widget will sort based on the app's element name. The same fix will be added into EasySocial 2.0 as well

Anyway, in future if you have any issues related to EasySocial 2.0 beta / RC, please submit your issue at our EasySocial issue tracker and our developers will then follow up your reported issues

Hope this help and have a nice day!
Sam

Brilliant. Thanks Sam.

Much appreciated. Now that this is fixed, would appreciate if you could remove the image attachment from my site in Arlex's post above.
