How do I create Video in a Group where I am a member?

Hi There,

I am a member of a group but when I go to Videos, I don't see Create Video button or Link. The only way I could do it is via Story Form. Shouldn't it be like in Albums where there is a Create Album button on the top left of the view?

Hi there,

Currently, it is it default behavior as we removed that 'Create new video' buttons form that view and you can create them from story form.

Thank you for confirming that.

I would assume you guys are working on something and the button to create video will be back in the next version or v2.1? For UI consistency sake, it would be nice to have a Create Video button in the videos view. I already got a report from one of our group owner that it is confusing how to upload a video, but I guess the form is not confusing it is where to create a video is confusing.

If you referring inside the group video page, that create new video button should appear on the group mini header right setting dropdown, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Hi Arlex,

Ahh... thank you for pointing that out even me is confused. It is just hidden in the context menu.

Almost all of views that a user has the permission to create, an action button is in the page except for the video, so again, for UI consistency I wish it will be be added in the future.
