If you have the blog app installed in EasySocial, check whether the user has the blog app installed in their profile. You can also make it a default application so that everyone can use this app immediately(http://take.ms/w74IG).
Also, in the stream settings, make sure to enable the setting for the type of stream you want to show(http://take.ms/HWWF74) and set the truncation setting as well.
