Hello

15 of 18 of my largest tables are 'finder_xxx' tables.

Questions :
- what is the purpose of these tables?
- is it normal that their size are so big? (FYI, my discuss_xxx tables have been spammed, see my previous ticket)
- what can I do if I want to reduce their size?

Thanks
Henri
Hi there,

Currently, those tables are for search on your site. Any content on your site will be indexed and stored on database. If there are a lot of data on your site, those finders table will also bigger in size.

There no way to reduce it currently but from what you stated above, maybe you can try to reindex them again under Smart Search components as you can see here http://take.ms/Uw1KT. You need to delete them first and reindex them again.

Or maybe you can refer them here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySPF4266iEQ

Hi Henri,

You will need to perform them manually by going to Smart Search components and clicks index as shown http://take.ms/Uw1KT. To make sure it index all new items, you need to delete them first as shown on previous screenshot -> "Clear Index" option.

Please advice.
