I did these settings.

How this remote publishing works?

What kind of format must have an email to be posted? (Text - Images)
Hello,

In order for remote publishing to work, you need to have PHP compiled with IMAP. If you already have it compiled with IMAP, you need to do the following:

1. Create a cronjob for EasyBlog's cron URL, http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/how-tos/setting-up-cronjobs-in-cpanel

2. Create an e-mail and send the e-mail to the email address that you have configured.

Hi,

The url you shared does not work. I got page not found error.

Do you have a doc for setting up email remote publishing step by step?

thanks,

Yiyu

Hello yiyu jia,

First you have to setup cronjob in your server and follow this documentation -> http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/how-tos/138-setting-up-cronjobs-in-cpanel

Second you have to enter your mail server details in Easyblog remote publishing particular field and save it.
After that click on the "Test connection" and see is it connected?
If you need further assistance, you can provide us with your Joomla backend and Cpanel access so we can help you configure with this.

I would personally prefer that you start a new thread instead and
*You can put the information in the optional information field below(SITE DETAILS). Don't worry about privacy. Only Support team can view the information.
