Unlike most social networks, the project that I am working on requires Open Access to data with the ability to lock down information if desired. The main workflow will be based on entering easy social via search.
Can this be done via admin settings?
Hello Fitzgerald Flood,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Are you referring allow all the user have the permission search all the data from Easysocial?
If no, can you elaborate more details regarding this? Please advise.

Well a big Yes to that as well.
It seems to me that I have opened access as much as I know how to. However, when I visit as a guest. There is still much that I can not see even in the stream. You see I am building social search site..

hello Fitzgerald Flood,

Sorry for late reply to this,
May i know which stream you can't able to access?
By the way, you can reset all the privacy setting from your backend > Easysocial > profile type > select your profile type > privacy tab > set all "Everyone" access > Tick the checkbox > save

May i know which lock down content are you referring to? Perhaps you provide us some screenshot regarding this?
