If you want to display video in the module, you have to put it as video post when creating the post. And don't forget to turn on this option: http://screencast.com/t/lbXQGKWvV4 in the module setting. Hope this helps.

Of course, I did all this from the beginning but it didn't work for me...
Now, I changed videopost to usual post and made a thumb image to display it in the module.
Could you try to make a videopost with any content to see why this is not working?

Also, as a separate request - please, do not forget to put back global site settings if you change it for possible trials.

How did you insert a video? I've tried insert a youtube video using this: http://screencast.com/t/OLTTMnfbzOY and set the post format to Video: http://screencast.com/t/powdmy2FQe and it is displayed correctly.
