If you are referring to the stream items on EasySocial dashboard(http://take.ms/qLL3a), the sorting is not according to the setting in Settings>General>Conversations. That setting only arranges the conversation list in the conversation inbox page(http://take.ms/t5EFd).

EDIT: By default, actually EasySocial stream items is sorted by last updated date. Depending on what kind of stream items you want to disable, you can do it by disabling the respective settings in the respective applications. The user commented/liked stream update is actually non configurable. If you want to prevent the 'comment' and 'liked' stream items from updating and moved to the top, you would have to modify core files, which I do not suggest as it is not protected from future updates.

Thanks for the reply. unfortunately I am not really clear on your brief.. sorry seems like it to technical for me.. do you mean that there is not way for me to short the stream by the created date not by the last update?
