Yes it should possible to achieve this by enabling this settings http://take.ms/ymoYY. But notifications will be sent out to your site subscribers only. By the way, you also need to make sure that these alert http://take.ms/SrbAN are installed on your end. If not installed/existed, you need to discover your alerts on Easysocial as you can see here http://take.ms/p8YQ8.
