Hi,

I try to import users from a .csv to EasuSocial using a import tool.

It works quite well but I have some issues with the avatars pictures.

1. I copy the pictures in the relevant folder (name = id) => Capture1
2. I can see the large (?) avatar => Capture3
3. but the small (?) avatars are not displayed => Capture4

Where are displayed the different format of images (small, medium, large, square)?
Can you send me the 4 screen captures?

Are we obliged to follow a size for each of these formats?

I have +2800 members, then avatars, to import from my old website.
Does a 'import avatar script' exist somewhere to automatically create folders (from a .csv file for exemple)?

BR

Hi Henri,

Kindly find my response for your inquiries below:
Where are displayed the different format of images (small, medium, large, square)?
Can you send me the 4 screen captures?

-> In the popbox profile we are using the medium https://www.screencast.com/t/AAemCPCjggvO
In the profile page it was using square image: http://take.ms/0UXWr

Are we obliged to follow a size for each of these formats?

-> Yes, because different page may be use different size

Does a 'import avatar script' exist somewhere to automatically create folders (from a .csv file for exemple)?

-> Unfortunately, there is no import avatar script

Hi Muhammad,

Thanks for your answers but some information is missing :

- what is the expected size for each of the 4 formats?

- you send me 2 capture for 2 formats, medium and square ... what about small and large?

Thanks

I am not sure if I understand you here but are you asking about which image size is used in your screenshot? It is the medium sized.

2. no answer for my question about the expected size for the 4 formats?

There are 4 sizes of avatar used in EasySocial and it is used differently on different places because it doesn't make sense to render a larger avatar on the stream because it would then have performance impact on the time needed to render the entire page.

In essence, these are the sizes of the avatars:

Small = 32 x 32
Medium = 64 x 64
Large = 180 x (depends on the proportions of the image)
Square = 180 x 180

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your reply event if it is late in KL.

Ok for the 4 sizes for the 4 format

And I understand that the 'medium' size is used in the BOTH displays of my screenshot.

I will try it
