Looks like there is a missing parameter in the mod_easydiscussrecentdiscussions.xml file. We'll fix this in the next release.

Temporarily, upload the attached file into /modules/mod_easydiscuss_recentdiscussions/ . After that, edit the module and you should see the option "Show Hits".
