Sorry but not really sure if I understand you here but you cannot have different default avatars for categories. If you want different avatars for the category, why not just upload an avatar for the category?

yes i want different avatars for the category . i can upload avatars but how can i assign each avatar to a category ?!

Hm, you could just edit the category at the back end of EasyBlog and upload the avatar for the category. Am I missing anything here?

I believe you should have setting/option to upload avatar in categories. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/o00m70iJT . Perhaps you can provide us with backend access and FTP access so that we can further inspect this issue and provide you with the correct fix.
