How can I change an Event with a 'Public Event' category into an Event with a 'Group Event'?

Hello

Some of our members forgot to create an Event from the Group (ie 'Group Event') but create an Event directly from the Event menu (ie. 'Public Event')
You can see both cases on the attached file.

How can I change the 'Public Event' category to the relevant 'Group Event' with a link to a specific Group?
From the admin dashboard or using DB tables?

Hi Henri,

You can modify the data from the #__social_events_meta table: http://take.ms/FnzXn. Basically set the group id you want the event to belong to.

Do note that once you do this, attendees that are not members of the group will not be able to RSVP or change the RSVP status, unless they join the group.

The attendees that are not group members will also not be able to view the group if the group is closed/invite-only group.
