Hi!

I was wondering if you could help me out with something please -

I would like to add the Drum n Bass category in the drop down menu next to home on the top left shown on image attached, and also to display in place of 'memes' as a featured category on the home page - i believe this is quite a simple task but for me it'll take much longer than it would if someone knew how i could modify it , i imagine it's just a matter of ticking the right box!

Also i would like to add the add unit on the home page, which is displayed here, just below where it says FIND US ON FACEBOOK on the right - i.e. the 728x90 ad unit

Please could you let me know how these two things can be done? Or if you were able to do these on my behalf i'd be really grateful

Thanks!
For your Drum 'n Bass category menu item, you'll want to add that to the menu you're using for that module.
https://docs.joomla.org/Adding_a_new_menu_item

And are you referring to this?

If it's a module it's a matter of publishing it on the front page as well.
https://docs.joomla.org/Help34:Extensions_Module_Manager

If it's within the template then you'll need to edit or override the code. You may need to contact your template developer on how to do that.

Also, you might want to do some optimizations. The page size and number of external requests is ridiculous!

Hi Nick Russell,

I am sorry for the late reply.
The reason why there is no blogpost displayed there is because of this setting at your menu. http://screencast.com/t/OImaGz6A . You have set this menu to display blogpost from this user only. So, since this user haven't post anything to this category, then nothing is shown here.

If you have anymore question, please do not hesitate to ask us here.
Have a nice day.

Hello Nick,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

To be honest I'm not quite sure how the categories is generated at your homepage. Do you use some sort of module manager 3rd party plugins or from the template itself? I've checked your site and it seems like the category is located under the gk template division, http://screencast.com/t/UYOGN3m74yT .

Perhaps you can consult with your template provider on how the content is generated there as we do not control the behavior of your homepage. Hope you understand.
