So I have two blogs I am working on. I see that I am not the only one having this issue, and after reading other peoples post I am even more confused.

I have multiple posts that have hit counts ranging from 30,000-110,000 hits yesterday. One in particular was at 59,831 yesterday. Today it says 63,912 hits, but today I logged onto google adsense and their numbers say 22 page views!!! Thats a big difference and not exactly sure why the numbers are so far off. I am getting no comments, no social media interaction, no facebook likes, nothing, but yet I am seeing numbers that would suggest a small army is following my blog on a regular basis.

Whats the deal here? Do I have 22 random visitors or do I have 4,000 dedicated viewers? My latest blog post is From January of this year and already has over 30,000 hits on it, but google is reporting less than 30? This seems extremely misleading!
Hello Adam,

Chances are that there are lots of bots that is trying to spam your trackbacks and it probably causes these "page views" being logged. Can you check if your trackbacks is disabled?
