Although it is only testing, it got me worried and thinking ahead

What would happen when there are 100s or 1000s of users?
Is there a check list of requirements for just 1000 users as a starting point?
Hm, did you turn on development mode for EasySocial? When development mode is enabled, it actually compiles the less files which could probably take some time.

Hi Mark

Yes it was enabled and was hoping to find ways to see why the app install is giving errors. I tried to look in error log but it only shows couple of lines about login. It doesn't seem to show much there.

Should I be looking somewhere else for errors?

That is probably why you are getting a huge amount of load time there because the less files are being compiled into css. As for the app install errors, please do continue at the issues page and provide us steps to reproduce the error
