Hiding HomePage Menu and the Vanilla Label

Hi,

I cannot find out how to hide the Home page Menu on the Vanilla Template.
And I can't work out how to hide the word VANILLA from the new menu.
I know, its probably really simple....
I've tested everything out on http://www.DEV.Masquerading.Global and I've resorted to renaming it to an exclamation mark.

Any chance you could take a peek and let me know where to switch off the label.

Found it!
Within that Menu item, under Link Type, Display in Menu needed to be switched to NO.

Phew!.....erm, no. It's gone from the MegaMenu on the PC, but it's back in the Slide Menu :-(



Thought I had removed the text/logo so 'Vanilla' doesn't appear on the heading, but it reverted back to be website address.
I'll work around it somehow.

Do you mean the Vanilla logo, http://take.ms/0QjFs ? This can be configured in the vanilla template settings, http://take.ms/ChfuS

As for disabling the menu on the top section, do you intend to hide this for everyone even for logged in users?

Hi,

Sorry, it was breakfast time here!

I don't want to disable the MegaMenu, I need to hide the HOME article/landing page which is on the MegaMenu. I had renamed it to be 'Welcome to Masquerading' (so it looked good for the sitemap) but was too wordy for the menu.
I've tried hiding it's title, but it doesn't seem to want to hide, so as a temporary fix I renamed it to an exclaimation mark!
Not ideal doing that as it will look odd on the sitemap, even if I rename it back to the word 'HOME' I still don't need to see it on the MegaMenu, or the Slide Menu.

Hope that makes sense.

Hey Julie,

Ah, you just need to enter an empty space " " in the text logo . This way, the system wouldn't be rendering any text there.
