To hide this, the only configurable option is to turn off the profile type which can be found under Settings > Users and turn off the option "Display Profile Type".

If you want to display the profile type but only want to remove this particular section, then edit the file /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/profile/default.edit.profile.php and remove the block of codes below:
