Unfortunately right now there is no way to turn this off unless the user does not have any permissions to write blog post at all.

I would suggest that you edit the theme file in /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/toolbar/default.php and remove the block of codes below:

Anyway just for your information, in EasyBlog 5.1, we'll be revamping the composer altogether by simplifying the entire process to create a new post

but can I ask what does the hide write button do in backend?
Could I then set quick post default to be image post? Although how long before 5.1 is released?

Hm, I believe that settings is actually for 3.9.x but we no longer have this option. Not too sure what you mean by hiding frontpage option?

Hi it is ok I found it, I meant users had the option to put post on front page but I found where to disable it.
