Hello

Could someone please tell me where to find the setting to hide the entire stream until logged in?
On the homepage I just want to show the login/register boxes with no stream items underneath it viewable by the public?

Thanks
Hi Michelle Nunan ,

You can turn on the lockdown from your backend > Easysocial > setting > general > lockdown mode - ON

Check my screenshot below.

Hope this help.

Thanks, I have done that but it redirects to the mysite.com/login page, is there a way to keep it to the top level url?

And also, on the login page the background image (with all the little icons) on the login boxes doesnt show up like it does on the main page, can this be changed?

Hey Michelle,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Sorry, what do you mean by "top level url"?

Sorry, I just mean that when I type in the domain mysite.com when in lockdown mode it redirects to mysite.com/login. Is it possible to use lockdown mode without the redirect? If not is there a setting to show the number of stream items for non-logged in users so I can set this to zero?

Thanks

Hey Michelle,

The behavior of lockdown mode is entirely different than just hiding the stream. To just turn off the contents of the dashboard for guests, download the attached file and upload it into /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/dashboard

That seems to work great thanks Mark. Is there documentation anywhere about the behaviour of lockdown mode?

Also I am about to post in the EasyBlog forum, just found a language string problem there too.

Lockdown mode basically enforces everyone needs to be registered to access the extension.
