Hello SI Support,

how can i hide a post in stream for all, that has been posted from one member directly in the profile of another member?

So if i write to the timeline of somebody, it should not automatically appear in the global wall/stream for all.

Thank you and best regards

PS: We have a site in a loca intranet, so it is not easy to give you access…
Hi EDV Support,

Who can view a post depends on its privacy so the only way is to configure its privacy.

However, there is no option to configure privacy for any user, only friends(http://take.ms/S9Irv). If the friend system is disabled, then this custom privacy can be used to search all users. Other than that, the only private way to write to non-friends is through conversations.

Hello Raymond, thank you for your answer. Just for clarifying:

I don't want to change privacy, but want a post that was directly written to somebodys timeline not to show up in global timeline. The post can stay visible for all users in that timeline, but should not go to the main stream/wall.

Hey EDV Support,

Currently this is not possible, but in EasySocial 3, the Me and Friends filter should no longer show user targeted posts unless those posts are targeted to yourself or friends.
