There is an option to display or not display headers in Events when published but it does not hide the header when there is no content in that Section (see image or go to Event Example).

How do i show a header when the section for the header in that step has content but hide it when the section for that header in the step does not have any content?

Note - I think it would make the published view better if this was a default option (hide header only if no content in section) but allow header to be hidden in all cases if required.

(The same issue occurs with Step Headings and a similar solution would be better).
Hi there,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to achieve with the current EasySocial yet.

Having said that, it would best if you could submit your feature request regarding this simply by creating a new ticket on the forums, and set it to "Feature Request" so everyone else on the site could vote for it as well. The team will usually prioritize features that are in popular demand during the development process of the next major release.

Thank you Abdul, I will do that.

Quick Question, in case this would be another feature request, the URL field only shows the url as output, is it possible to use the href attribute in an anchor element to show text output instead?

Hi there,

Correct me if i am wrong. I believe you are referring to URL fields for your groups and etc. If yes, you can configure them here https://take.ms/DZYHb.

Can you give it a try and see how it goes.

You are correct Abdul, it is what is was referring to and I have tried different ways to get the correct linked text output instead of the linked https output, but no success.

The settings i am using are in the image below and the output is here in the Host Club 2 Field.

Note: The url and title pop up i use for this post is perfect (see last sentence), am i doing something wrong in the way i am trying to achieve similar output in the Event URL field?

Hi there,

Currently, you need to include full URL here https://take.ms/TdNY8 in order for them to get it correct links. Can you give it a try and see how it goes.

I may have not explained properly Abdul, sorry, this is what i am trying to achieve as output in this test example:

Falcon IBC

In a different event, the output would be different for field Host Club 2, for example:

BIBC

Is it possible to use the settings in the Host Club 2 field to achieve this type of output and if so how (as i cannot find a way to do it)?
