Need a quick pointer. I am using EasySocial on a joomla3.x site. Currently have the Dashboard being called as a REGISTERD user after login into the site. hence, EasySocial picks up all the users.

For technical reasons i do not wish to use the EasySocial login/registration. We use Joomla-Works social login and heavily modified the JW-login module, joomla login and Community Builder for various reasons.

I wish to HIDE (not disable) the EasySocial login and registration form on the Dashboard so I can provide a "Public" menu item to the dashboard, but bring up the JW-login instead.

I do a large amount of PHP and HTML work, but it appears on the surface that the dashboard may be presented via javascript. I am basically having issues locating the code snippets (wherever they are located) to hide the EasySocial login and registration from the dashboard, after that I can figure out the rest of the coding.

Just to reiterate, this is to hide only, not totally disable....

So if you could point me at the correct files I can move on from there
Hello Brian,

Your best bet is to wrap the login form with a specific class / id so that on the dashboard, it is hidden rather than removed. You could edit the file /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/dashboard/guests/default.php and locate the codes below,

[gist]
<div>
<?php echo $this->html('html.login', $return); ?>
</div>
[/gist]

Replace it with,

[gist]
<div class="es-dashboard-login t-hidden">
<?php echo $this->html('html.login', $return); ?>
</div>
[/gist]
