Hi again,
Is there any cache in ES that the purge cache button doesn't clear that affects user settings? After registering and removing a couple of users with the same email address, they seem stuck in the group they belonged to as well as on the dashboard feed, they appear as guests even though they have been removed from Joomla entirely. Also, I noticed when I change a user's user group (in Joomla), it takes a long time for that user to finally have access to the pages unique for that user (each profile type in ES is assigned to its own user group in Joomla so that they see certain menu items depending on the group they belong to). Any idea what might be causing this?
Cheers,
Michael

Hello Michael,

EasySocial doesn't actually cache these data. If you have enabled any 3rd party caching system or Joomla's built in caching system, these could be caching the data.

Also, if they are still logged into the site, these changes doesn't take effect immediately because Joomla stores the user's data on the session table. Have you tried logging out and logging in again?

Hi Mark,
I have the Joomla cache turned off and no additional cache on the server. The guest users are still lingering there in the group even though 2 days have passed. I tried logging out, I also cleared all possible types of cookies and cache from my browser. Any advice on how to refresh the session table?
Best,
Michael

Hi Michael,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have found the root problem to this issue. It is nothing about the cache on your site. It seems like when you deletes the user from Joomla user, the social_cluster_nodes table doesn't get updated. I have helped you clean this table and now it should be displaying correctly. I believe it is a bug from our ends and I will get back to you as soon as I can after I have found the correct fix to this issue.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Ok Mohd, will do. I'm still performing tests so might have to be creating and deleting users.
Thanks,
Michael
