Hi folks,

I'm trying to install a new badge rule but having no luck with the install or discovery methods. Attached is the badge rule file; can you see if there's a problem with the file itself?

Thanks!

James
Hello JH,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
That was strange, because I have tried to install in my local as you provided that badge file, it seems like work fine for me. Check my screenshot below.

What my suspect is did you check that badge command is it already used in your other badge? If yes, you have to change to another badge command. if the issues is not about this, can your provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Thank you, Arlex. You're right, I was using a command that was already in use. However, I changed it and the rule is still not working! A discover scan doesn't even find the file (.badge extension). It does find other rules but not the new one I'm trying to add. Strange! I have added my admin details below and if you have a chance to look at this I'd be very grateful!

Best wishes,

James

Hello James,

Please provide us with the ftp access to look into this. Also, please understand that this is actually beyond the scope of our support and we are just helping you out of good faith

Looks like there's actually a bug in the badge discovery when the badge item is not in an array form. I have fixed this for your site and also discovered the badge successfully now

Thank you VERY much, Mark. So, with your bug fix I should be able to do this myself next time?

Thanks again,

James
