Hi All.
I will, from the get-go, say that I've always been a Windows man. However, I am running a digital ocean droplet. My site is Uber slow (considering I have 4GB of mem). So, I read up on tuning MySQL. Totally confused! Can anyone help as to what I should have configured in MySQL when running ES and ED?
Thanks
Dave
Hello Dave,

There's quite a number of tutorials available on this. Try to do a search on google on "optimizing mysql + my.cnf"

Hi Mark.
One thing I didn't realise when using Digital Ocean + ServerPilot was that ServerPilot sets up the "bog-standard" MySQL 5.5. I did some trawling around on the net, and found that most people highly recommend changing it out to the Percona version of MySQL. So, I gave it a shot, and was stunned. The website instantly loaded a lot quicker.

So, I guess my point here is, if you're running Digital Ocean + ServerPilot, then consider doing that. This was the Article I used from Digital Ocean to guide me through the process, so hopefully it may help others out also.
