I tried uploading a new EasyBlog module yesterday and somehow corrupted the blog (just getting error message):
Fatal error: Call to undefined method EB::request() in /home/*****/public_html/administrator/components/com_easyblog/models/model.php on line 40

I had my webhost do a restore of a backup I made on 9/22/15, but that did not fix the issue. The EasyBlog version on the EasyBlog control panel now shows version 3.9.15633, even though I was on version 5.0.xx before. I had updated to version 5.0 well before the 9/22 backup, so I don't know why it reverted to the old version.

Please help!
Hey Alan,

Do you want us to perform the upgrade to the latest version of EasyBlog for you on the site?

By the way, I unpublished the blog from the Main Menu and Quick Links menu in order to make the site run.

Hey Alan,

I believe the update should fix this because based on the errors that you have provided, it seems like your web hoster may have restored an older version of the database but the files are still on the newer version.

By the way, I can't access the Joomla installer screen on your site. I am hitting this, http://screencast.com/t/CdLK3bSXf

Can you please advise?

Also, while you're at it, I was trying to install the Recent Comments module for EasyBlog when I crashed the site. Can you install that module as well?

Hello Alan,

I've checked your site and found out that you were getting that error is because you using the template override for the latest comment module. I've updated Easyblog for you and modified your template override. Please have a look.

Looks great. Thank you very much for your help!

One final question: In the Latest Blog Comments module, I have 'Show Blog Title' set to Yes, but when it displays, it just shows "..." rather than the title.

Hello Alan,

It seems like came from the template override file. I've renamed the folder: public_html/templates/jsn_decor_pro/html/mod_easybloglatestcomment and the title is displaying fine. Please have a look.
