Just reporting a little issue. I don't need a temporary fix on my site as I just work around it now that I know about it....

If in back-end admin you add a HEADER custom field to a user profile type... then in the description box for it you add a hyperlink including double quote " then it strips it out.. but next time you go to edit that custom field, the description field displays extra weird HTML and you can't change the entry with the "

The solution when this happens is to delete the entire header and create a new one. Hyperlinks can be added in the description perfectly fine with a single quote '. It seems to be the " that crashes things.
Hello Andy,

Ah, I see. I can replicate it now. I will add this in our tracker and see what we can do about it. Thanks for reporting it to us.

Hello Andy,

Thanks for the bug report. However, I can't replicate it in my local. Correct me if I'm wrong, is it something like this: http://screencast.com/t/Td6vmoD9 ?

HI Nik... Hmmm... Yes that kind of thing.

I tried again today and I had to SAVE the whole profile first and then go back into it. Can you try this:

1) Add a Header Field
2) Put test as the description
3) SAVE AND CLOSE the Profile
4) Go back into the Profile and you should then see that the field description now looks weird when you try and edit it and won't let you change it either.

Please don't take away the ability to have a hyperlink with a single quote though.. I make great use of that feature! I'm really just reporting this because of how it looks back-end (if you can replicate it) just in case there's any potential for damage to be done by mistake by someone re: codes.
