Hi-

I'm trying to embed this YouTube URL into a blog post using the Embed Video link:
<iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/IWY8IEFfr3U?rel=0"; frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

EasyBlog changes the URL.

I'm trying to show a YouTube video using a 640x480 frame size. How do I do that?

Thanks...Todd
Hey Todd,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

When you drag the youtube block in your blog content, you should copy the youtube URL e.g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWY8IEFfr3U instead of `embed` url, so it will generate the youtube video there, then you can adjust the width/height from the right panel, take a look of my attached screenshot below,

Hope this help.

Hi-

How do I display the YouTube block in the post? In the Blocks section, it says it's published but doesn't show.

Thanks...Todd

Hey Todd,

Are you using the "EasyBlog Composer" or are you using another editor? If you are using the composer editor, click on the "Add Blocks" button on the toolbar.

If you are using the legacy editor (WYSIWYG editor), update to the latest version of EasyBlog and you should see a new button as shown here, http://screencast.com/t/S56X5ZfM30

Support-

This is not intuitive at all.

I switched to the Easy Blog Composer.
In new post, I added a YouTube block
I entered this URL in the YouTube URL field = <iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sRdMCRdpdYo?rel=0"; frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I get an error that says "Please add some content for your post"

I need specific instructions how to accomplish this please....Todd

Hey Todd,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Did you click on the embed button? I think you might be inserting this incorrectly. You only need to copy the URL of the video and not the embed codes. Here's a screen shot of an example of how to utilize the youtube block.

Take a look at my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/o0hxYTvnecRj

Mark-

I don't want my support requests published in your support forum!

Every time you send me a support email message, there's no link back to the thread in the forum. There's no easy way for me to see my support requests.

This back and forth is very time consuming and frustrating. What are the next steps?

Todd

Hey Todd,

Hm, your support requests are actually not being published on the forum. Since you replied to us on the email, it goes to our helpdesk. You can access our helpdesk at https://crm.stackideas.com/index.php
