Hi there

I am trying to make some styling changes but it seems that I am missing something or do not quite understand how template overrides work.

I tried to override ->
/components/com_easyblog/themes/vintage/styles/style.min.css to /templates/ja_social_ii/html/com_easyblog/styles/style.min.css

But somehow this is not working for me.

Also template for ->
/components/com_easyblog/themes/vintage/blogs/latest/default.main.php to /templates/ja_social_ii/html/com_easyblog/blogs/entry/default.main.php

is also not working. What am I doing wrong here? Need help because every time you release new update have to make all changes again.

Thanks in advance
Regards
J.M. Burri

Hello,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as now is a weekend for us here

Regarding your css override, your steps is correct as stated in our documentation. I am still investigate this issue as why EasyBlog did not pick up your override css file. Will get back to you regarding this once I've figured out what causing the issue.

As for the php theme file overriding, look like you've copy the wrong file. For entry, the file should be default.php. I've copy the default.php into your Joomla template /templates/ja_social_ii/html/com_easyblog/blogs/entry/ and when you viewing a blog post, you will see a debug code. This indicate that the php file is now loaded from your override folder. http://screencast.com/t/Ulmxae0Wd9 You can find this debug code at
/templates/ja_social_ii/html/com_easyblog/blogs/entry/default.php at line 14.

Hope this help and have a nice day!

Hello,
same issue, style.min.css override seems useless, it doesn't override the main css...

I thought there might be a bug.

I managed to solve my problem by using my own templates custom.css.

Have a nice day.
