Hi Brandon,
It seems I am hitting this error when I login to your backend:
http://screencast.com/t/lkyPa5Iq

Can you help me double check whether you can access you backend? Also make sure to update the credentials you provided at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site and make sure it has super admin privileges.
I also tried to access your ftp and it is showing an empty directory, please advice, thanks.

Hi Brandon,
Based on the error message, the system failed to create the directory and move files because there are certain permissions not enabled to allow these processes. By referring to the attached screenshot, you can see that there are two directories not having write permissions and as a result denying the installer file to upload into the directory.
You should contact your web hosting provider regarding this and enable write permissions for those directory. After that, try to do the installation again and let us know how it goes, thanks.

I was unable to login in your backend now.

By the way, It seems like that was Joomla issue, can you try follow my instruction and see is it can discover back your Joomla installer?

1. Go to backend > extension > manage > discover > click discover button on top
2. Install these 3 plugins: Install from Upload || Installer - Install from Folder || Installer - Install from URL
3. After you installed then go to backend > extension > plugin > click filter and select installer > enable these 3 plugin. (You can refer on my attached screenshot below.)

hey Brandon,

can i hire someone to set up the blog, properly?

Actually you do not need to hire someone to setup Easyblog in your site, as long as your Easyblog license still valid, our support team will assist you on this, but that is not included customisation service.

Perhaps you can start a new thread on our forums and describe which thing you would like to setup on your Easyblog page e.g. autoposting, send out email notification automatically and etc, so that we can assist you on this?

It seems like you have disable `Easyblog frontpage layout` menu item from your backend, so Joomla unable to find out which component router then show this following URL with item id.

http://www.yourdomain.org/index.php/component/easyblog/easyblog-installed-successfully?Itemid=101

To fix this, you have to create back `Easyblog frontpage layout` menu item from your backend > menus , if you need this assistance, perhaps you can provide us again with your Joomla backend access so that we can help you on this? Because you provided that login credentials is not working now.
