The link in EasyBlog 5 to EasyBlog's documentation shares under 'Configuration' how one can enable Microblogging . The direction's's to do so say's to go to: Components >> EasyBlog >> Settings where you will find a link in the left column called 'WorkFlow' which will make available a tab 'MicroBlogging'. There is no link called 'Workflow' and I have been unsuccessful in finding any tab or link called 'MicoBlogging'
Here is the link to the page in your documentation that appears to be outdated.

Can one still MicroBlog with EasyBlog5?????
Hi Eric,

Yes, Easyblog 5 still available for allow user create microblog.

The option is located from your backend > Easyblog > setting > general > general > quick post > check my screenshot below.

By the way, we will update this documentation as soon as possible.

Is there no way to do quick posts from the administration?

So there is no way of defining post type from administration?

For instance, imagine you want the post type to be video so that when the user comes on a video post type entry page the theme could make the video go at the top e.g. https://www.gamespot.com/videos/is-accessibility-in-games-a-bad-thing-reboot-episo/2300-6438983/

Where another post type may be just standard which will make it appear like a normal post.

For those who are familiar with using the administration workflow it would seem a bit odd to switch back and forth between the front end and administration just to achieve the post type functionality.

Hello George,

Currently the quick postings is only available on the front end but we do intend to add the "post type" settings into the composer itself in the near future so you don't necessarily need to use the quick post to post a "type" of a post.

Awesome Mark,

How near is in the near future may I ask? I know worst question ever! But I'm in the middle of doing a blog theme redesign and if that is the case I'd rather use the post type field rather than creating a custom field.
