Help!

After upgrading to latest EasySocial version I'm getting an error message front end and back end on event creation...

It says... Call to undefined function GuzzleHttp\_idn_uri_convert()

I noticed the same error when I tried to follow a prompt to update EasySocial apps from backend - but temporarily ignored that.. but it seems it's a bigger issue as I've now noticed it stopping event creation.

Any ideas to fix?!
Hello Andy,

There's a conflict between the Guzzle library used in one of the API for Fitbit and the Guzzle library which we are using in the latest version of EasySocial.

We are still finding a work around for this but we'll probably try to fix this in the next version of the steps app.

Thank you - That seems to have fixed the problem.

I'm not familiar with Guzzle - Is this something that could reoccur?

Hi all,

What is the fix for /public_html/media/com_easysocial/apps/user/fitbit/vendor/guzzlehttp/guzzle/src/functions.php ?

I have the same issue, I would like apply the code patch instead of paying for an upgrade just for this.

Best,
Joel

Hello Joel,

I don't see any purchase for the Fitbit app from your account. Am I missing anything here?
