When a guest user tries to access a page that is for registered users only, it currently directs them to the unity page, with the login and registration forms.

Upon logging in, the site just takes them back to the unity page.

I've seen some references to a login dialog in the source, but it doesn't seem to be fully implemented. Ideally upon a guest clicking a link to a page which they don't have permission to view, a dialog/modal would pop up and upon logging in/registering the user would then be taken to the page they were initially trying to access.

Is it currently possible, or have I correctly labelled this post a new feature request?

Many thanks in advance.
There is a dialog that would popup if you try to perform specific actions like adding a friend. In the EasySocial settings page, there's a setting that would allow you to configure the login redirection URL.

Hello Christopher,

It really depends on which links they have clicked but in general if you try to access a page that requires login, and after trying to login, the system will automatically redirect the user back to the page that they were trying to view unless you modify the settings for the default login page.

So, there is no dialog?

We have not altered the redirection page, as far as I can tell it's only configurable on the login module anyway. The issue is, once taken to the unity page, that then becomes the pages to redirect to after login.
