Hi,
I took a look and the only upgrade that needed to be added to the Upgrade setting was the Guest account. This means a user can upgrade from a Guest, to a PAID membership and I think on the LIVE site, they are only offered a 6 months plan.
Business Users only get Business Access/Ability to create Business Pages, if they sign up for this on the initial sign up.
Then I spotted the user I was using to test it had an expired account, so I signed them up for a Guest account and that user could then only upgrade to Guest, or 6 months membership. There are other plans available on the development site, but just 1 PAID plan on the LIVE site for now.
I thought that some of the problems I have been having with the menus, is because the guest account cannot see "The Arena" menu, because most if not all of the settings are set to registered… Guest accounts are not set to access the arena, only Registered.
However, I upgraded this user to a 6 month membership, and they cannot access THE ARENA menu either!!
So:
1) How can I add the other 'upgrades' to the dropdown list - see screen shot of what the user sees. I can't remember what triggers it, even though on the LIVE site, I only need the 1 plan.
2) I have screen recorded the menu error problem that I have previously reported. I know I have closed that ticket, but you might be able to spot something I am overlooking with this menu problem.
3) How can I set it so a user can only VIEW ONLY (Guest), without the full capabilities of a paid member (Registered)? It might already be set correctly, but I just need to check this out.
4) Is there anything else that needs to be addressed for the paid membership and switching to occur?
I will need to check and verify these changes across the 3 sites, but I am currently only mentioning the Dating site here, as this is the only one (currently) allowing users to have a Guest account.
I need to offer a Guest login/account for Pets, but for obvious reasons I have held back!!
