Currently I have no ideas why `guest` updated his profile stream appear on dashboard, can you provide us with your PHPMYADMIN access so I can help you delete these `guest` stream and try replicate this issue and see how it goes?

I've help you delete these `guest` stream from your database, and I also put some code for track back which file trigger this action under this file JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easysocial\includes\avatar\avatar.php, if your site dashboard still having `guest` stream, keep me update.

Help! This issue has just returned... If you check my activity stream (from 30 minutes approx before I posted this) you'll see multiple entries of 'Guest updated their profile picture' - I try and delete these from the stream (front-end super admin) but they seem to return....

Here's an example... mysite.com /stream/item/29722

The picture seems to be related to this account that got activated AFTER all these pictures appeared on the stream.. mysite.com /myprofile/5137

It seems like this issue happening when the user signup via Facebook, but when I tried to signup via Facebook and trying to update my avatar, it seems work fine without generate the `Guest updated their profile picture` stream.

I have a few question :
1. May i know this user "Charlotte Hoffman" how you approve him?
2. May i know is it possible consult with this user is there any happen when he trying to signup via Facebook from your site? is it the registration process until system show him a message waiting for admin approval?

Also I already applied some debug code from this file again JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/avatar/avatar.php , keep us update if you noticed this kind of stream "Guest updated their profile picture" generate again and it would be best do not update your Easysocial first, because my debug code will get override.

Hi Arlex. Thanks for looking at this.

It certainly doesn't happen EVERY TIME sometime joins with Facebook - Over the years I've seen it about 3 or 4 times. So very occasional issue.

I approved this latest user via the email I get as admin - but the pictures had already appeared on the stream at that point... I'll get in touch with her today and ask if anything odd happened... I'll let you know!

Is it ok for me to go ahead and delete the account you created now that part of the testing is done?

Just letting you know this happened again with a new user today... mysite /stream/item/31449

A total of 34 entries on the stream (that link was the last one) all saying GUEST updated their profile picture.

Unfortunately your debug code is probably no longer there following the upgrade to 2.0.9 - I couldn't hold that off because my events calendar was affected by the bugs that 2.0.9 fixed.

Thanks for letting me know about it, I already applied back my debug code in the same file, keep us update if you noticed this issue again, I would like to see where it generate from.

Yes, it seems like last time you did update your Easysocial to latest version on Jan 15th -> http://take.ms/eaeTL

Since this issue I was unable to trace where coming from, I've applied some fix in this file -> JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/avatar/avatar.php if the system detected that is invalid user id, do not store the photo from the database so it will not generate the photo update stream on the dashboard.

And I will log this issue into our issue tracker and see if we can apply the proper fix.

Our developer already get back to us, I've revert the temporary fix from your site and applied the some fix in this file -> JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/controllers/registration.php , can you try check whether still hitting this issue on your site in this few day?
