Hi guys,
I am having trouble with the guest post feature on EasyBlog.

When a user logs into the system and clicks on the pen icon to create a blog post, after choosing their template the system opens to a black screen?

Any help would be greatly appreciated (I have attached an image for reference)

Thanks
Shaun
Hello Shaun,

Need your help to turn off ModPagespeed so that we can debug on the styling issues. http://take.ms/9ZADq

Also, have you altered anything in the back end that impacted the homepage module (named 'Banner')? Seems the search bar is not displaying correctly now? http://prntscr.com/ibqctr

Hey Chang,

Can you give me a bit more guidance. I'm not sure whereabouts in the templates this exists? Also, whether this will impact other aspects of our site?

Cheers
Shaun

Hi Shaun,

I have helped you apply some custom css codes in EasyBlog's custom css to address the issue(http://take.ms/FxwZR). Can you help us check if the issue is still occuring? http://take.ms/vVK4U

There may be something coming from your template or a conflict perhaps since the composer page looks fine on protostar template.

If the custom css codes that I applied works, then you do not need to disable pagespeed.

I changed the default template from the templates section(http://take.ms/NNejPZ). I have revert the change but I want to confirm is that the correct default template that you set before?

Hey Raymond,

Thanks very much for your help. I was actually speaking with my CTO and he was concurrently doing a back up and restore to fix the homepage issue.

I have tested and it appears that this has not impacted the custom code - the blog is working!

Yes, that appears to be the correct template. Thanks for checking. Interesting that the xero template has a conflict (there always seems to be a small issue with integration of any sort).

I'll double check everything is working but thanks again for your help.

Cheers
Shaun

No problem Shaun. I would also like to apologize if I did anything that might have caused the homepage issue but glad to know that the backup has addressed that.

Alright take your time and let us know if you have any other issues similar to this in the composer. If not, feel free to update us and we will update the thread to be resolved.
