Groups: Show events in calendar view

Hi,

Our groups have a lot of events created. Is it possible to show the events in a calendar view (refer attachment) instead of a chronological/sequential view? Something like an events calendar of "Upcoming Events" for easy access by group members under "Applications" or within Events section. Can this be done out-of-box or requires additional core hacks? Is there some plugin available to accomplish this?

I am really sorry but unfortunately right now this is not possible out of the box You'll probably need to hack the theme file to render a calendar

Hey Mark,

Appreciate your prompt response. Is there any stand-alone Calendar application that integrates well with ES? Perhaps we can use that to list all events in respective groups. However, it is critical that the calendar app respects group privacy and the Upcoming Events calendar for each group can only be viewed by registered members of the group. Only admin will have the rights to create/publish/edit/modify/delete any info.
