There seems to be an issue with the group story application, if you check the backend Applications>Story(Group), there is no configuration options at the bottom.

I would like to try to reinstall EasySocial for you and see if this issue it fixed, may I have your permission to do so?
If yes back up any core customization files so it won't be affected by the update.

Hey Rose,

I've checked in your site, the reason why it didn't show the stream on the group is because there a lots of hidden group `joined` stream since you have disable this group `joined` stream from the app configuration setting.

I already help you updated those group `joined` stream state to unpublished, so it will populate your stream on the group now.

By the way, I will report this to our developer and see if we can find out a better solution for this in the future version.

You're welcome, do you mean you would like to see those members who joined in the group stream?

If yes, you can enable back from backend > Easysocial > application > search for `group` keyword > filter `group` as well > Display Join Group Stream - YES

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I have question :

May i know is it you do not want to display those member join/leave/memberPromote group?

Because I've checked again following existing your group in Easysocial, all is join/leave/memberPromote stream instead of normal story stream, since you have turn off all those setting from the app, it won't appear those stream on the group. (You can refer on my attached screenshot below)


1. יש לי רעיון! יוזמות מורים קטגוריה כללית (id = 6)
2. מומחים בשער קטגוריה כללית (id = 5)
3. פורום ביולוגיה קטגוריה כללית (id = 3)
4.משרות הוראה / עובדי מעבדה קטגוריה כללית (id = 2)

If you try to submit a new story stream, it will appear for all the times, you can check my attached screenshot below.

By the way, may i know which stream you noticed that is missing on the group? Perhaps I can take a look of this?

I also take a look of your database with those stream table, i noticed no one submit any story stream on the group, all the stream is under join/leave/memberPromote stream which you disable those display stream from the app.

If you enabled those setting from the app, you will see all the member join/leave/memberPromote stream.

I do not want to display join/leave/member Promote group. My users need to see only the group posts.
There is no problem to add post and see it on the group stream but after a while all the group post disappeared.
All the users that enter the group wall don’t see any of the group post and must seek the group posts in the main stream
In the group wall they see only … No ACTIVITY

It seems like you provided that FTP login credentials is not working, can you try download my attached file and replace into this following file location in your site and see how it goes?
