Hi Amazing Team:

I bring to you this matter,

1 - When i go to dashboard, in the sidebar in groups, i have a layout with just letters, that points me to a pre view of the group, In profile the app sends me straight to Groups, well altho i do like the visual, this is a bit confusing to comun user, so is it possible to have the same layout as in groups, on dashboard pointing directly to the groups page and with avatars on the menu as in profile?

2 - On mobile the collapsed toolbar, works nice, but the does not link to nowehere.
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Do you mean the group header layout not same with the single group page header layout?

By the way, this is the default behaviour filter purpose when you click on the group from dashboard, it will show the preview on the group.

2 - On mobile the collapsed toolbar, works nice, but the does not link to nowehere.

It actually already effected on the filter when you click on the group link from the sidebar, you have to toggle back your menu and see the content.

However, we actually still looking solution for this situation because Easysocial is actually under web base instead of mobile app.perhaps you can try our partnership appcarvers already build Easysocial mobile app, it would be very user friendly on mobile view. http://appcarvers.com/products/easysocial-app

Ok. But is there a way that we can have a consistent view? I mean, in the user perspective, this is confusing, one link opens one view but if you are in your profile it links to another. Can we have all the links acting the same way, opening the single group page, the more simple the better, because the final user will be messed up, and this is more than a reason for him to give up and leave the site. If i have in a sidebar a Title - Groups - and underneath the Groups name, when i click on that group is because i want to go straight to the group, instead of going for a front page and then have to click again and go to another page. ( A user like you and me like it complicated and worked, but a normal user will look to that frontpage and think is this the group? instead of looking for a solution like we do here in the forum he will just or either stay in that limited page and complain to us or he will just close the site and stay with facebook) Does this makes sense to you as well? Is not being picky it just optimizing performance and reducing risks to have someone leaving the site because its complicated!

Thanks for your feedback, it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this in our voice page -> http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial , so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, mean all the user like this behaviour, and we will priority consider it.

Hi Arlex, the problem is now! We have so far only registered 50 members in our site so we can start having a reall feel about users performance issues, and we had 45 complaining on that. How can i disable then the groups link, form Dashboard, and put in Dashboard the Group module that displays in Profile?

Hey there,

I already disable that group filter widget from your backend Easysocial theme setting, and replace to use Easysocial group module, can you check is it look fine now?

By the way, the invited group will not show in the module by default.
