Hi There,

Quick questions about Groups Discussions & Announcements apps:

- Why chose not to allow to select an Editor on Announcements App and allow to choose in Discussions? I am trying to lessen the UI confusion of end users when they go through each of the Groups app and maybe you guys have a good reason as to why you chose to just let Announcements app to use TinyMCE by default.

- In Discussions app, the default editor under Composing tab is BBCode and it's great, simple editor but functional. My question is the File upload capability. When clicked, it creates a popup box where a user can create folder and upload files into it or select files from it. Now, where are these files saved? Where are the folders being created? My first thought is maybe ES, similar to EB, it creates a personal folder for this particular user and that is where files are being saved and the location is relative to media path. But going to the Storage settings, there's no such folder that refers to it. So, where are the files? Any files uploaded to it, does it also gets uploaded to Amazon S3 if set?

- I assumed that BBCode editor was installed with EasySocial since it is not part of Joomla default, right?

- Is there any plan to change Announcements app and allow Site Admins to choose their own preferred Editor?

-> If you've setup files to be uploaded to amazon, yes, the file will be uploaded into the amazon s3, and regarding the path it is actually stored in the :
.../media/com_easysocial/files/groups/...
and by right the storage path for file should be configurable in the setting same as the others.
And regarding this I've logged it in our issue tracker and our developer will take an action for this.

-> Yes, it is correct

-> Perhaps, you can create a new ticket under feature request so our developers can keep track the functionality that we can implement in the next version
