Groups and Pages URL with SH404

Hi There,

In Groups, it generates a weird URL for filters:

http://www.domain.com/groups/com_easysocial_sh404_type_filterform/groups/158-genesisclass

In Pages, URL to photos:

http://www.domain.com/pages/photos/com_easysocial_sh404_photos_type_page/169-classic-car-night/10446-classic-car-night-250x250

I think it is the parameter &type in the URL that's causing it. I know, it is a pain to use SH404SEF but I cannot drop it for now, maybe in J4.0

Hey Jackson,

There are pros and cons in using SH404 but you could quickly fix this by adding the following to your language file,

COM_EASYSOCIAL_SH404_TYPE_FILTERFORM="filterForm"
COM_EASYSOCIAL_SH404_PHOTOS_TYPE_PAGE="page"

But why is that? That language translation is not in the language file?

Hey Jackson,

Yep, we must have missed these language strings as EasySocial is a pretty huge extension with so many different variations I have already added them into EasySocial 2.1 as we are gearing towards an alpha release, we will try to not push another 2.0.x unless there are critical issues.
