User 1 and User 2 are both members of a group.

User 1 makes a post to the group.

User 2 does not receive email notification.

What do I need to do so group members receive email notifications?

Thank you!

Bruce
Hey Bruce,

You can actually edit your group and change the notification behavior as you can see here, http://take.ms/pH9KR . If you don't have such settings, you can add the notification type custom fields in the group's category workflow.

The Notification setting in all groups is set to "Both" and I am not receiving an email notification when someone makes a post in a group of which I am a member.

I have verified my email address in my profile .

Hey Bruce,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have checked your site and it looks like the e-mails are stuck in the mail activities as the cron job wasn't setup for the site. Have you setup the cronjob for EasySocial yet? If you have not, you would need to refer to the guide at https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/cronjobs

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a public holiday for us here.

Perhaps you can share with us what kind of Cron command you setup on your server?

Or you can update your Siteground user login access so I can help you check on this directly.

Hey Bruce,

Thanks! I was able to login to Siteground now but all I can see from cpanel is the domain name brucedill.com, http://take.ms/alYZq . I don't seem to see researchbreeder.com in cpanel. Is there a separate login for this domain?

Ah I see! Thanks for the update. I have updated the cronjob and it will work fine now. The problem is because the url was http://researchbreeder.com/index.php?option=com_easysocial&cron=1 instead of https://researchbreeder.com/index.php?option=com_easysocial&cron=1

It works fine now. The notifications will be sent in batches and you should get these e-mails soon.
