Hi,

It seems like it's not possible anymore to create a Group-only Event.
We had closed events but that's not an option anymore(?).
All our events should be bound to a group, no group-less events (never).

What do I have to do to get group-only events?

Thanks in advance
Fred
Hey Fred,

Sorry but I don't quite get you here. Would you mind elaborating more about this? We did not removed any functionality in regards to the group events.

Hi Mark,

I need Group-specific events, visible for group members only, but dont see any possibilities right now.
In the past we had 'closed' events and I believe these were group-only. Now it's 'open', 'private' or 'invitation'.
Or is it me being a bit confused?

Hey Fred,

Ah, we actually reworded the text to standardize the definition of open / close / invite only. In short, closed events are basically private events

So it's the same as a 'closed' event?

Private: "Access to this event has been restricted to its attendees only. "

But I want to create an event within a group and all group-members to be able to read this, even if they're not attending.

Hey Fred,

Yep, it's the same behavior. We just re-worded these strings to standardize them.
